Albergue in Navarrete
We are staying in this 12 person room at Navarrete tonight. 6 bunkbeds. And there are 3 other rooms like this, and maybe a couple of doubles. It costs 10€ a piece. I am on the top bunk. Men and women are in the same room. They are sold out tonight.
The place is actually quite nice. Lots of light from lots of windows. Very clean. Nice proprietor. So, we are good to go.
We walked 14 miles today . That's pretty good given all that has gone on. But we did it and felt good. We are a little weary today, but for me, it was probably the result of a snore filled night last night. I didn't have my ear plugs, and couldn't easily get to them. That wont happen tonight.
So, we are doing good!!!

I try to find the rhythm between each of the snorers sometime creates a melody to fall asleep by. Some times if it mostly guys. There is a pretty strong percussion section too. Hehehe
ReplyDeleteThere you go...putting a positive twist on a constant challenge. They turned the lights out in the room before we got back from mass, and now i can't find my ear plugs. It's a percussion session!
DeleteAlways nice to have ear plugs as well
DeleteHa, I was wondering how your snoring all night would keep you from sleeping and how ear plugs would help. Hmmm A Big Ha on me. Randy's comment explained it all. Others snore, not you. Got it!
ReplyDeleteMany snorers, and, I am sure, sometimes me, but this night in a room of 12 people, limited to no snoring. I had a much better night's sleep. It is 6 in the morning, and half of the 12 are packing up to leave. We prefer to walk in the light, so we let this first onslaught leave without our getting in their way.
DeleteI can only imagine the snoring in that room. I have a hard enough time when my husband is snoring.
ReplyDeleteGreat to have a crowded room with NO snoring! Good night's sleep is so necessary on a long trek. Yay for 14 miles - that's a long way.
