Home, Safe and Sound

Just wanted to let you all know, we are home, safe and sound. It was a long day but, overall a smooth one, short of the fact that Gretchen's backpack is still in Madrid. Not sure what went on, but fortunately,  having it be lost on this side of the trip is easier to deal with.

By the time Keegan picked us up at the Orlando airport (Thanks so much Keegan), and we had reported the lost bag, it was very late, so we are opting for sleep tonight, and will see the doctor in the morning.

We are relieved to be home.

  3. Will be anxious to hear what the doctor says about Gretchen but also happy you are HOME. I hate it when luggage isn't on the same flight as we are but that's happened to us too! Sending hugs for some good REST...........

  7. I had no idea of the recent developments until band practice tonight--I wasn't checking the blog while we were out of town. And it sounds like we were in the Orlando airport at the same time, if I understand correctly. We arrived there at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night. If only I had looked around for some purple hats!

  8. Well, I'm seriously late to the game! It was fun to read about your adventures and am truly sorry you had to cut things short (maybe next year you can pick up at the same spot?). Very good decisions made - especially to put health first. Love to you both! - Jen
